"...TRANSFER WEEK... I want to stay at least another 2 transfers hopefully..."

Hey!

Once again, how was everyone's week?

Man, it's been quite a week in the sense that not much happened this week 😞 did a few visits with our investigator and had some lessons, besides the wedding of our investigator that happened last Friday it's been a fast but not so productive week. My soa came down with the flu last Wednesday and the same day I busted my shoulder playing ball with our investigator. When your age catches up 😐 lol. We called our mission nurse and she pretty much told us to stay in our flat and recover or else... So we did just that obediently lol.

Friday was Vitoria and Brother Peterson's wedding as we were invited we enjoyed the ceremony and of course the feed and entertainment. It was wonderful to see them finally take this step in marriage and then for them to look more forward to her baptism this coming Saturday which we can't wait for.

Last Tuesday was the our last District meeting for this Transfer, our District name they came up with was "2k warriors". Lame as honestly, these young bucks lol definitely change it next transfer. Its TRANSFER WEEK and tomorrow we find out who is staying and who is going. At first I wanted to leave after a transfer but after being here there's so much work that can be done in Alfriston Ward and Manurewa 2nd Ward that I want to stay at least another 2 transfers hopefully. I've been told that apparently everyone becomes "Trunky" on transfer week, well not this week gotta go all out because last week felt really trunky even though we were out of commission lol, work hard play hard.

What a P-Day it's been though, our Zone leader Elder Tongco from Manila Philippines finished his 2 years of serving honorably and left for Hamilton this morning to stay with President until his flight on Wednesday. We went with our District to drop him and Sister Schere who also finished honorably to the Manakau Mall bus stop, shared our last laugh and our last goodbyes. Honestly, it's only been 1 transfer (6 weeks) but he was the man and a mean Zone Leader it was hard saying goodbye and singing "Folofola Mai A Sisu". Oh yea everyone in this mission is either fia Samoa or fia Tongan lol it's pretty cool though seeing other cultures trying to learn to speak the languages, then there's me straight up Aussie all day every day lol.

But yea its been a long exhausting day playing ball for hours because ball is Pday life and finally now able to email. It's been a great Easter weekend and grateful for the members showing my companion and I some love during the recovery. There's going to be a lot of changes this week but only looking forward to it and can't wait for what each day has install for us.

Hope everyone had a swell Easter Holiday and didn't forget to remember the Saviour and his infinate atoning sacrifice for us. 😊
Alofa atu and have a good one.
Elder Purcell

P.S, Sorry for no photos I left my camera charger in the MTC and it did good lasting 5 weeks with out charge, currently waiting for the other elders with their cameras lol so I'll update with them when I can.
