"Another week, another blessing!"

Wassup!

Another week, another blessing! Well it's been swell! Last week was meh slow I guess - boring P-Day. District meeting is always good I guess. Some good things though, we were able to get in contact with Brother Matthews - one of the less active members, we caught up with him after not seeing him for 2 weeks, he's honestly the man. Buying our groceries and feeding us mean lunches during the week. We had a mean lesson with him on Wednesday and then he cooks us up some steak, sausages, toast, potatoes and eggs for lunch (this is every Wednesday).
Yea the District Meeting

We've taught Jason the 2nd lesson in the Plan of Salvation and are teaching him the next 2 this week and review what we have taught him making sure he understands and prays to know that our teachings are true. He's a good kid, already been going to church before we started teaching him and he loves church more than anything. With Atherton we are trying to find a translator to help in the lessons but its hard to find someone who is available for the time we need them to be, but we're praying and we know we'll get someone.

We had a service on Saturday with a referral we got and went to visit but it didn't happen lol. We organised a service to mow this family's lawn and mate it was a massive yard front and back but we were keen and Saturday was a seki day sun was out nice and warm but our Ward Mission Leader was M.I.A lol. We tried calling him cause he had the equipment but no go, so you know had to call her and say sorry for being the biggest buildups ever lol and schedule another day... yep good talk.

But yea other than that my week was alright hopefully this week we are able to catch up with Jodeci, one of our investigators we have't seen in weeks. We have a lot planned this week more than last so I'm looking forward to it. It's always good to plan out your week and see that your busy through out the day.

Well, thats it for me, going to be going to lunch with one of the lads from home, yea the boys. You guys have a good one!

"Missionary work all day errday!"

Wassup yo!

How was everyone's week? Well hope it was good. Just another week as a missionary, nothing much happened but good old Zone Conference driving down to Hamilton and seeing the other lads from our intake and meeting no missionaries, yep ain't no day like Zone Conference. Also bought some clippers cause the Elder's decided I'm going to be the next mission barber for South Auckland lol after Elder Vaitohi left for Tauranga, so yea hopefully if it becomes a new talent for me that I can develop to help the lads. The weather here though straight disgusting it's cold, damp, wet and muggy and Winter has only started. I literally have 2 heaters on in our room and my companion hates it because he's from the cold parts of Idaho lol oh well.

So on Tuesday we met up with our referral that we got from Manurewa 2nd and saw Jason eager little kid he is, he's already been going to church for a while and loves it - really looking forward to learning more, so we taught him the first lesson on Thursday on The Restoration and he already knew a bit which was good, it helped us understand what he knows already. So now we are teaching him on Tuesday and Thursday just like Atherton. Atherton has been a bit hard with teaching because he's having trouble understanding. We are trying to figure out ways to help him overcome the obstacle that he faces learning and always the obstacle that we face trying to teach him. We've come up with ideas we just hope they work out, if not back to the drawing board. Friday was good we went and did visit with our Ward Mission Leader and visited a few potential investigators, 2 referrals as well. One of them surprisingly invited us in, we wern't expecting that but yea had a nice chat and we offered to do some service. So on Saturday we mowing lawns lol yea the service, so hopefully we can use this as an opportunity for Missionary Work. We also were finally able to catch up with one of the referrals we spent the whole last transfer trying to catch but never saw them. Of course they were busy but told us to come on Saturday instead. We came back on saturday a couple times and nope no one home lmao yea good times, but at least they know who we are now.

Well that's all, nothing much else. Missionary work all day errday. Until next week. Yoza.
