Hey everyone!
How was your week?
Man, what a week with transfers and everything! So yeah, I get the call on Tuesday about transfers and got ready to pack, you dont realise all the things you accumulated in an area until it's time to pack. There were a lot of things that I left behind but nothing important. So now I've left South Auckland =( for Rotorua. Yay =). Transfers are saying goodbye to the members that you gain a relationship with and also the lads in your District, they say your first area is your favourite and hard to leave, yep it's true lol.
Well, took the bus from Manukau to Hamilton then to Rotorua. man straight up beside the smell of sulfur lol it's beautiful. Green hill and nice open spaces but at the same time has all the stores you need. I'm in Tokoroa which is 30 mins out from Rotorua town, it's pretty mean, full of Samoans and Cookies. First day got pulled up by the cops who tried to those scare tactics getting me out of the car and stuff, turn out he's the 1st councilor of the Bishopric lol a warm welcome he says, I couldn't hold in my laugh cause my comp already told me about him. My comp is gangs Elder Poloai from Samoa. He was in my MTC intake aswell so already knew the lad. We get along well and with him around I'm getting better at Samoan slighty lol, sadly I'll only be with him for one transfer as he's been here for 3 already.
The ward is awesome, everyone is so friendly and honestly the members are lit - always helping the missionaries. Our area is big so alot of kms gonna be done in the transfer but looking forward to the challenges that await me here in Rotorua. I know I'm going to enjoy my time here.
Well, that's all from me. I don't have a wire from my camera so photos next week hopefully.
